Daily Mail 24 News Desk.

Panic spread in Indiranagar, Bengaluru, after a knife-wielding man stabbed four people, including two pani puri vendors, within 30 minutes on the night of February 8. Though all victims sustained neck injuries, they are out of danger.

Rumors of a serial killer on the loose circulated on WhatsApp and social media, triggering fear. However, the police clarified that the attacker was Kadamba, a known rowdy-sheeter at Indiranagar Police Station. Four special teams have been formed to track him down.

According to the victims, the suspect wore a red T-shirt, white pants, and a black cap. The first attack occurred at 9:30 p.m., when Jaswanth (19) was forced to stop his scooter. Upon resisting, Kadamba slashed his throat and fled. Ten minutes later, he attacked pani puri vendor Deepak Kumar (24) after being denied service. Minutes later, he injured another vendor, Thammaiah (44), after being asked to pay.

Police, using CCTV footage, identified Kadamba as a repeat offender with six pending cases, including burglary, assault, and robbery. Known for alcohol-fueled violence, he remains at large as police intensify their search.
