BREAKING: Pawan Kalyan’s Son Injured in Fire Incident at Singapore School

Daily Mail 24 News Desk.

Visakhapatnam/Singapore: Mark Shankar, the youngest son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, sustained injuries in a fire accident at his school in Singapore. The incident occurred earlier today, prompting Kalyan to cut short his ongoing tour in the Manyam and Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) districts.

According to initial reports, Mark suffered injuries to his hands and legs and experienced mild smoke inhalation. He is currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital in Singapore. His condition is said to be stable.

Pawan Kalyan is expected to depart for Singapore from Visakhapatnam after completing his immediate engagements in Manyam. Though his ASR tour was originally scheduled to continue until tomorrow, the remaining appointments have been cancelled in light of the emergency.

The Jana Sena Party posted an update on X (formerly Twitter), stating that Kalyan was hesitant to suspend his tour but was urged by officials and party leaders to travel to Singapore. “I had promised the tribals of that village yesterday that I would visit Kuridi village near Araku...so I will go to that village, talk to them and find out the problems there," the post quoted Kalyan as saying.

Kalyan has been on a developmental tour across ASR and Visakhapatnam districts since Monday. Earlier in the day, controversy arose after several students reportedly missed the JEE (Mains) exam due to traffic congestion caused by his convoy.

However, the Visakhapatnam City Police issued a clarification denying these claims. The Deputy CM's Office also took cognizance of the matter, with Kalyan ordering a detailed inquiry into the traffic situation and convoy management during his visit.
