Moderate Rainfall with Thunderstorms Expected in Several Karnataka Districts

Bengaluru: The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast indicating the possibility of moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in various parts of the state on Tuesday.

In some areas of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, Kodagu, Hassan, Mysuru, and Chamarajanagar districts, light rain accompanied by thunderstorms and winds blowing at speeds of 30 to 40 km/h is expected.

In the northern interior districts of Belagavi, Dharwad, Gadag, and Haveri, wind speeds may reach 40 to 50 km/h, with light rain and thunderstorms in some areas. Dry weather is likely to continue in other districts.

This weather pattern is expected to persist for the next three to four days, according to the department. Bengaluru is likely to experience a cloudy atmosphere.
