Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer-2’ Shooting Begins   

Chennai: In 2023, Jailer was a massive hit at the Kollywood box office. Rajinikanth shone in a mass avatar as a retired police officer. The film received full marks from audiences for its acting, star cast, music, and storyline. Fans cheered and celebrated their Thalaiva after watching the movie. 

Director Nelson Dilipkumar announced Jailer 2 earlier this year through a teaser. Now, the shooting of Jailer 2 has officially begun. Reports confirm that the filming has started in Chennai, with Rajinikanth actively participating in the shoot. 

The shooting is expected to last for 14 days, during which key scenes will be filmed. The film is being produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures. 

In Jailer, legendary actors like Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal, and Jackie Shroff made special appearances. Reports suggest that they will also be part of the sequel.
