Hubballi: Former RJ Mayur Kadi’s Directorial Debut Creates Buzz with Unique Campaign

Hubballi: In a creative promotional move, the team behind an upcoming Kannada movie launched the “Listen to the Audio – Guess the Movie Title” campaign last week, inviting audiences across Karnataka to guess the movie title based on a music track. Over 100 winners were announced as part of this initiative.

Building on the momentum, the filmmakers have now revealed that the official title of the movie will be unveiled at 8:08 PM on Sunday, January 26, 2025, across theaters in Karnataka. The method of the reveal has been kept under wraps, leaving fans eagerly waiting.

Produced under the Maheshwara Motion Pictures banner, the movie marks the directorial and acting debut of former Hubballi-Dharwad radio jockey Mayur Kadi. The music is composed by Ullas Kulkarni, with Prasanna Kumar handling the background score.

The film features an ensemble cast, including Mayur Kadi, Apoorva Aradhya, Girish Shivanna, P.D. Satish Chandra, Chetan, Vidyasagar Dixit, Sunil Patri, Jyoti Puranik, and Karthik Pattar. The story follows a radio jockey from North Karnataka and a woman from Mysuru who arrives in Dharwad. The plot delves into the interactions and unexpected twists that occur between the two leads.

Shot in Mysuru, Bengaluru, Hubballi-Dharwad, Chikkamagaluru, and Mangaluru, the movie captures diverse locales of Karnataka. The filmmakers have also announced plans to release the first look of the movie a week after the title reveal. Fans and cinephiles are eagerly awaiting this much-anticipated debut venture.
