New Delhi: This year's first lunar eclipse and the rare Blood Moon eclipse will occur on Friday. The Blood Moon will be visible to the naked eye in parts of South and North America, Europe, New Zealand, and some regions of Africa. However, due to daylight, it will not be visible in India. According to NASA, the Moon will appear in a reddish-orange hue during the eclipse, which is why it is called a Blood Moon.
