Bee Swarm Attacks Students, Several Injured

Mangaluru: A sudden bee attack at Kakkinje Government Higher Primary School left over ten students injured on Tuesday, February 18. The children, who were stung multiple times, were quickly taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Fortunately, all are now stable and recovering. Reports indicate that between 10 and 15 students sustained minor injuries in the incident.

 The attack took place during school hours when a swarm of bees suddenly descended on the premises. Chaos erupted as terrified students ran in different directions, crying for help. Local residents, upon hearing their screams, rushed to the scene and assisted in evacuating the affected children.

Although some students experienced discomfort after the attack, timely medical aid ensured their safety. In an effort to prevent further incidents, locals attempted to disperse the bees by lighting small fires and producing smoke around the school premises.
