Labor Minister Santosh Lad Calls for Change in Prime Minister

Belagavi: Labor Minister Santosh Lad has taken a jab at the BJP, stating that it is time to bring down the "Vishwaguru" and consider Union Minister Nitin Gadkari or Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for the position of Prime Minister.

During a media interaction regarding potential changes in the state's Chief Minister, Lad remarked, "There is trouble within the NDA government led by the BJP. BJP ministers are dissatisfied with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Consequently, there is speculation that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu might be considered for the Prime Minister's role."

Lad further criticized the BJP, saying, "BJP leaders only talk about Modi's achievements. However, no one speaks about the accomplishments of other leaders. The BJP lacks a majority in the center, leading to discussions about replacing Modi. Additionally, we have seen the Vishwaguru for 11 years. We have no objection if he is brought down and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is made the Prime Minister."
