Hubballi: Police Commissioner Emphasizes Vigilance in Cash Movement Operations

Hubballi: Following recent robbery and murder incidents in Mangaluru and Bidar, Hubballi Police Commissioner N. Shashi Kumar convened a meeting with over 250 representatives from banks and financial institutions at BVB College. The focus was on improving security measures for cash transfers, including adherence to RBI guidelines and conducting security audits.

The Commissioner stressed the need for increased police presence, enhanced checkpoint security, and stricter protocols to prevent crimes during cash movement. He urged banks and private cash transport agencies to ensure heightened vigilance and requested the public to report any suspicious activities promptly.
