Hubballi: Citizens Can Now Directly Share Grievances Through Phone-In Program "Interaction with the Mayor"

Daily Mail 24 News Desk.

Hubballi: Mayor Ramanna Badiger has initiated a program called “Interaction with the Mayor” on the first Wednesday of every month. This aims to address issues related to drinking water, waste management, roads, streetlights, and drainage, reducing the need for citizens to visit offices for redressal.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Badiger stated, “We have already resolved many issues. However, problems persist in certain areas. To address these effectively, we are organizing a phone-in program on the first Wednesday of every month.”

The phone-in program will take place tomorrow at 11 a.m., with the commissioner and officials in attendance. Complaints will be resolved within 15 days. Citizens can call 8277802331 or 8277802334 to report their grievances, and swift action will be taken.

He clarified, “This is not being done due to administrative lapses or as a publicity gimmick. The program aims to provide quick solutions to citizens’ problems and prevent them from having to visit offices repeatedly.” He further assured that if grievances are not resolved within 15 days, the commissioner will be instructed to take action against the concerned officials.
