Old Hubballi Residents Die in Crash While Returning from Nandagad

Belagavi: Two 20-year-old residents of Old Hubballi’s Ishwar Nagar lost their lives in a tragic road accident near Ambadgatti in Kittur Police Station limits on Sunday.

The victims, Ramesh Ambiger and Madan Chandrakant Meti, were returning to Hubballi from Nandagad after visiting the Samadhi of Sangolli Rayanna when their bike hit a tree. The collision was fatal, and both youths succumbed to their injuries.

The Kittur police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances leading to the accident.
