Lakshmi Hebbalkar Responding Well to Treatment, Discharge Expected Soon: D.K. Shivakumar

Belagavi: Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar visited Belagavi's Vijaya Hospital to inquire about the health of Women and Child Welfare Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar, who is undergoing treatment following a car accident. AICC General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala was also present during the visit.

Speaking later, D.K. Shivakumar mentioned that orthopedic specialist Dr. Ravi Patil had briefed him about Hebbalkar's condition, stating that she is responding well to treatment. He expressed optimism that the minister might be discharged from the hospital in a few days.

When asked by the media about BJP leaders not being invited to the event, D.K. Shivakumar clarified that it was a public event, and everyone was free to participate.
