Gadag: The Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) is set to inaugurate a Super Specialty Cardiac Care Unit with a state-of-the-art Cath Lab facility on February 3 at 10 AM at the institute’s teaching hospital in Mallasamudra. 

 

The event will be attended by Karnataka Legislative Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti and Medical Education Minister Dr. Sharanprakash Patil. Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Gadag district-in-charge minister Dr. H.K. Patil, will inaugurate the facility. 

 Former Chief Minister and Haveri MP Basavaraj Bommai, Government Chief Whip and MLC Saleem Ahmed, Ron MLA and KMDC Chairman G.S. Patil, MP P.C. Gaddigoudar, and MLCs S.V. Sankanur and Pradeep Shettar. MLAs C.C. Patil (Naragund) and Dr. Chandru Lamani (Shirahatti), along with Asundi Gram Panchayat President Altaf Kagadagar, will also be part of the gathering. 

 Medical Education Department Principal Secretary Mohammed Mohsin, KPSC Secretary and District In-charge Secretary Ramandeep Chowdhary, Deputy Commissioner C.N. Sridhar, Zilla Panchayat CEO Bharath S, and Superintendent of Police B.S. Nemagoud will be present as special invitees.
