Hyderabad: On Friday night, Hyderabad Metro Rail established a special ‘Green Channel’ to ensure the rapid transportation of a donor heart. The organ was transferred from Kamineni Hospitals in LB Nagar to Gleneagles Global Hospital in Lakdikapul, covering 13 kilometers in just 13 minutes across 13 stations.

This remarkable achievement was the result of meticulous planning and collaboration between Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR), L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited (L&TMRHL), medical professionals, and hospital authorities. The operation was closely monitored by the attending doctors to save critical time in this life-saving mission.

In a press release, L&TMRHL reaffirmed its commitment to supporting emergency services and leveraging its advanced infrastructure for societal welfare.
