DCM D.K. Shivakumar Buys Silk Saree for Wife at Karnataka Exhibition

Bengaluru: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar made a special purchase for his wife, Usha, during his visit to the Karnataka Exhibition stall at the Invest Karnataka Global Investors Forum 2025. The DCM selected a premium silk saree priced at ₹26,025, which, after a discount, was reduced to ₹25,000.

Along with the saree, he also bought a perfume for his wife. What caught attention was the DCM personally handing over ₹25,000 in cash to his close aides to complete the purchase.
