250 Screened at TB Detection Camp in Kundagol Taluk Hospital

Kundagol: A tuberculosis detection camp was recently organized at the Taluk Hospital in Kundagol. The camp was a collaborative effort by the District Health and Family Welfare Office, District Tuberculosis Eradication Office, Dharwad, and the Rotary Club of Hubli Midtown.

 

This event was part of the government's 100-day Tuberculosis Eradication initiative. Approximately 250 individuals were screened for tuberculosis, provided with free medication, and educated about the disease.

 

Notable attendees included Taluk Health Officer Dr. Sophia, Chief Medical Officer of the Primary Health Center Dr. Mahendra, Taluk Health Inspector Mr. Veeresh, KIMS pediatrician Dr. Shivanand, pulmonologist Dr. Ashok Gudgunti, Rotary Club of Hubli Midtown President Ro. Dinesh Shetti, Secretary Ro. Praveen Bhansali, and former President Ro. Kaustubh Saunshikar, among others.
