‘Vijayendra You Are Just a Kid’: Jarkiholi's Scathing Remarks Spark Row

Belagavi:  Former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi launched a direct verbal attack on BJP state president B.Y. Vijayendra, stating, "I joined the BJP to make your father the Chief Minister, Vijayendra."

Speaking at an event in Ankalgii village of Gokak taluk during the inauguration of various developmental works, Jarkiholi responded sharply to Vijayendra's recent statement that “those who speak against Yediyurappa won’t be able to roam around freely.”

"If you claim that no one can step outside after criticizing Yediyurappa, I accept your challenge. I will come to your constituency. Let me know the date, Vijayendra. I will visit Shikaripura. I will come alone, without police or gunmen. Let’s see what you can do. God has given me the strength indeed to make not roam freely, but I won’t misuse it. Today, I advise Yediyurappa to reconsider. Sir, your excessive attachment to your son, Vijayendra, is ruining you. Help appoint a capable president for the BJP," Jarkiholi said.

"We are fighting to remove our party’s president. Vijayendra, we are warning you. You do not have the eligibility to continue as the BJP state president. You are just a kid. I have never spoken disrespectfully about Yediyurappa. Even now, he remains our leader," Jarkiholi added.

He slammed the Karnataka Congress government and said that the government has turned ATM for Delhi Congress leadership
