Union Minister Pralhad Joshi Seeks Blessings of Lord Sri Krishna in Udupi

Udupi: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi visited the Sri Puthige Krishna Math in Udupi today and had the darshan of Lord Krishna. Following this, he participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of an overpass at Sri Krishna Math to facilitate the smooth movement of devotees. 

Speaking on the occasion, the minister expressed his pride in the developmental initiatives undertaken by Parayaya Sri Puthige Mathadheesha Sugunendra Tirtha Swamiji to enhance the convenience of devotees visiting the math. 

He emphasized the significance of the golden overpass, which will provide an attractive connectivity from Geeta Mandir to Rathabeedi (Car Street), stating that it was his privilege to participate in its groundbreaking ceremony in the presence of the revered swamijis. 

 Praise for Social Initiatives by Puthige Swamiji 

During the event, the minister lauded Sri Sugunendra Tirtha Swamiji for his continuous social welfare initiatives through various mathas worldwide. 

He also appreciated the "Koti Geeta Lekhana Yajna" (One Crore Geeta Writing Campaign) initiated by the revered swamiji for the propagation of the Bhagavad Gita, calling it a commendable initiative.
