Since January 26, over one crore devotees have visited Ayodhya, culminating in grand Basant Panchami celebrations on February 12. The spiritual city, now home to the newly enthroned Ram Lalla, continues to attract around three lakh devotees daily, with the temple open for 18 hours.
Lakhs performed sacred baths and offered prayers, enhancing the festive atmosphere. Sadhus and saints celebrated by playing with colors, and Ram Lalla was adorned in yellow garments, symbolizing spring. Offerings like kheer and puri were presented as part of rituals.
Amid the influx, the administration, under CM Yogi Adityanath’s directives, ensured smooth arrangements with crowd management measures, designated parking, and shelters for devotees. Officials monitored the fair zone round the clock, ensuring a seamless spiritual experience.
