Dharwad – In a poignant turn of events, an elderly farmer couple from Devara Hubballi village, near Dharwad, passed away early Monday morning at their residence, remaining united in both life and death.
The couple, Ishwar Arer (82) and his wife Paravva Arer (73), left an indelible mark on their community with their enduring bond. For the past few months, Paravva had been battling age-related ailments. Despite these challenges, the couple shared a joyous dinner together on Sunday night, filled with laughter and smiles. By dawn, they had both departed this world.
The couple is survived by four daughters, 12 grandchildren, and a large extended family. Their sudden demise has deeply moved the residents of Devara Hubballi, who have been touched by their love and companionship.
"Their unity in life and death is truly moving," said a local resident. The village has arranged for their funeral, scheduled for this evening.
