Hubballi: Kasabapet Cops Solve House Break-In, Recover Stolen Valuables

Hubballi: The Kasabapet police have successfully solved a house burglary case, arresting the accused and recovering stolen gold ornaments worth ₹1 lakh.
The accused has been identified as Ashok Sonnad (32), a resident of Vijayapura. He allegedly broke into the residence of Panduranga Chigalampalli in Ishwar Nagar between December 25 and December 29, 2024, while the family was away on a trip to Chikkamagaluru district.
The crime came to light when Panduranga and his family returned home and discovered that their gold ornaments, kept in a treasury, were missing. Upon further inspection, they realized that someone had gained unauthorized entry into their residence.
Following the discovery, Panduranga filed an FIR on January 3, prompting the police to launch an investigation. Their efforts led to the successful apprehension of the accused and the recovery of the stolen valuables.
