Dharwad: Town Police Solve House Burglary Case, Recover Valuables Worth ₹6.45 Lakh

Dharwad: The Town Police have successfully cracked a house burglary case, arresting the accused and recovering valuables worth ₹6.45 lakh. The recovered items include 87 grams of gold jewelry valued at ₹6.09 lakh and 507 grams of silver ornaments worth ₹36,000.

According to the police, the burglary occurred on January 8 at the residence of Umakant Karchikatti, located near Kavalageri Road within the Town Police Station limits. A special team, led by Inspector N.C. Kadadevar, was formed to investigate the case. The team’s efforts led to the arrest of the suspect, identified as Sunil Mulgund, a resident of Gadag.

Dharwad Police Commissioner N. Shashikumar lauded the team for their diligent efforts in solving the case and recovering the stolen valuables.
