Congress Government Strengthens Anti-Social Elements: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi Slams Karnataka Congress

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has strongly criticized the Congress government in Karnataka, claiming that since coming to power, it has emboldened anti-social elements.

Speaking to reporters in the city,  the union minister alleged that the withdrawal of cases against organizations like PFI and SDPI has given courage to certain groups, leading to incidents such as cutting the udders of the cows.

He remarked that under the Congress regime, criminals have gained confidence, believing they will be protected no matter what they do. "If the government were strong, such incidents would not occur. The administration’s complete failure has resulted in innocent animals being targeted," Joshi said. He accused the Chief Minister of dismissing protests as politically motivated and urged the government to take accountability for the safety of the people. He further added, "The Congress government has become a haven for criminals."

Responding to the possibility of D.K. Shivakumar becoming the Chief Minister, Joshi likened the situation in the state to a burning fire. He claimed corruption and internal conflicts within the Congress party are the root causes of the law and order issues and that no control exists over the current spate of incidents.

Highlighting internal discord within Congress, Joshi said that infighting has already begun in Himachal Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. "Congress is losing relevance across the country. It has become a burden for everyone, and even in the three states it governs, it will eventually lose grip," he remarked.
