Hubballi: ISKCON Invites Devotees for Vaikuntha Ekadashi Darshan and Cultural Events

Hubballi: Preparations are in full swing at ISKCON Hubli-Dharwad for the grand celebrations of Vaikuntha Ekadashi on January 10, 2025. The festival, revered by devotees of Lord Vishnu, marks the opening of the Vaikuntha Dwara, symbolizing the spiritual gateway to Vaikuntha.

 

A spectacular gold-painted Vaikuntha Dwara, 15 feet high and 11 feet wide, is being erected to welcome thousands of devotees. The temple will be adorned with fragrant flowers to resemble Vaikuntha, with the Dwara open for public darshan from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

 

Key events include the Laksharchana Seva, where devotees will chant one lakh names of the Lord throughout the day, and the Venkateshwara Homa at 5:00 pm, aimed at promoting world peace. A cultural program featuring classical dance performances by renowned artists will add to the festive spirit from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

 

Prasadam will be served to all visitors, with elaborate arrangements made for parking and other conveniences.

 

ISKCON officials, led by President Rajiv Lochan Dasa and Vice-President Raghottam Dasa, invite everyone to participate in this spiritually enriching event.
