Dharwad: The Dharwad District Police have successfully conducted a raid and arrested one individual for the illegal possession and sale of the narcotic substance Charas. The operation took place on Tuesday, near the Chikkamalligawad Cross bus stand. The raid was initiated based on credible intelligence that a suspect was attempting to illegally sell the drug.
The arrested accused has been identified as Akil Ahmed, son of Kutubuddin Munavalli. Police seized approximately 220 grams of Charas. The estimated market value of the seized substance is ₹80,000. The operation was executed by Dharwad Rural PSI Praveen Koti, and his team. Dharwad SP Gunjan Arya, Additional SP Shivanand Katagi, and DySP Vinod Muktedar guided the team .
A case has been registered at the Dharwad Rural Police Station
