Hubballi: The Akhil Bharatiya Shri Rajendra Jain Navyuvak Parishad and Mahila Parishad celebrated the 90th birth anniversary of Punya Samrat Rashtra Sant Acharya Jayantsensuri Maharaj Saheb at Shri Marudhar Shanti Bhavan in Hubballi.
The programme began with a Mangalik recital by Sadhvi Shri Mokshamala Shriji, who remembered the revered Jain monk and highlighted his virtues and contributions to society.
Leaders from the Youth and Women’s Councils — Sanjay Seth, Manish Jain, and Mintu Jain — also spoke about Acharya Jayantsensuri Maharaj Saheb’s inspiring life and teachings.
Dinesh Sanghvi, Secretary of Shri Jain Marudhar Sangh, and social worker Mahendra Singhi appreciated the ongoing social initiatives of the Council, calling them a reflection of the monk’s values.
Event Chairman Nilesh Jain presented an overview of the activities undertaken by the Hubballi branch of the Rajendra Parishad. As part of the celebration, artificial limbs were provided to several physically challenged beneficiaries.
In addition, the Council honoured devotees involved in the flag-hoisting ceremonies of four Jain temples (Jinalayas) in Hubballi, which are marking their Silver and Golden Jubilees.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Council President Shailesh Jain.
